I think I'd like to see Power Stone 1 or Project Justice even more than any of those on the poll.

But I still voted Power Stone 2.

I voted for Final Fight. Would be great to have a Final Fight IV with the SFIV look and the feature list of Bionic Commando Rearmed.

My favourite of the list is Street Fighter III 3rd Strike, but I think the parry system won't work with lag while playing on-line, so I would prefer MvsC2 to play on-line.

I also love the other games of the list, but I miss a Megaman Powered Up and a Strider+StriderII pack.

Hey Kraig,

When does the poll officially end?  when will the official leader be chosen?  Is it a timed deadline or a "total voters reached" deadline?

Do you guys really think SF III needs to be released in HD? I still play it on occasion and the characters still look incredibly awesome and detailed. The game practically is HD already!

I voted Saturday Night Slam Masters. (TAKE THAT!)

I'd vote Project Justice too, if it where on there.

SFIII is playable on 360 through the Street Fighter Anniversairy collection, right? I do hear it's slightly buggy, though? Something about some slowdown when jumping?

Man, HD Slam Masters would rock! Especially since it's not SUCH A TECHNICAL GAME such as SFII, so maybe it could even be redone, with added animation frames and more characters. Hence, more of a revival, than just an "HD Remix".

The 4 player Mayhem would just be wonderful.

with HD Remix, there will be no need for any other fighting games.

I fear MvC2 coming to XBLA cause that means that would steal all of the
competition going on in HD Remix.   SSFIIT HD Remix should be the last
fighting game released on XBLA.   there's no fighting game I enjoy as much
as Super Turbo, and a remix update is even better.

MvC2 has lots of characters and combos but to me that's not a true
hardcore fighting game, mainly just spamming supers every 8 seconds.
  :p
plus there is no skill involved in doing the team supers.  it's such a noob fest.

MvC2 is the Halo of fighting games while SFII is the Rainbow Six of fighting games.   of course the cheesiest, noob friendly game gets the most attention.

Saner, that is incredibly selfish of you to suggest that.  There are a lot of people out there who love Marvel vs Capcom 2 more than Super Turbo.  And if you saw MvC2 played at a high-level, you would not claim that it is a "noob fest".  And by your logic, Capcom shouldn't release Street Fighter 4 either because 'that would steal all of the competition going on in HD Remix' as well.  Why do you hate Capcom so much that you want to prevent them from making money?  And you call yourself a loyal fan.

:p

The Playstation 2 version of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection cannot be played on an HD set without some input lag (there's lag converting the PS2's 480i signal to an HDTV's resolution).  Things are a little better with the Xbox 1 version since that outputs a 480p signal.

The best solution would have been playing Third Strike on the Xbox 360, since the system can upscale the game to 720p, which is perfect for HDTV sets.  However, the backward-compatibility emulation is not 100% (the game will occasionally slow-down whenever a fighter high-jumps).  That's why an HD version of Third Strike is not unnecessary.  As I mentioned previously, if I had the funds, I would want to see the original Third Strike animation cells rescanned at a higher resolution.

Haha I voted Slam Masters too! (That makes 7 us now :D )

Project Justice was a great game, and it gave me an excuse to dust off the old Dreamcast.

actually no, cow, because Street Fighter 4 is gonna cost 60 bucks and HD Remix at most is gonna cost 20 bucks.   plus sold in different methods.

they really won't compete with each other since a large margin of fighting game players rather stick with 2-D fighters or Virtua Fighter-esque fighters.   only the people wanting a SF with a 4 and EX fans would
wanna play it.

yeah I seen high level MvC2 play but it's still not as hadcore as Super Turbo.
plus MvC2 has the worst soundtrack in history.   and there are a lot of
characters in it I don't like fighting, and I'm sick of the 2 screen high super jumps, it's sooooo annoying.    :p
