SF1?...are you serious? Nobody wants to play that game. There's a reason why SF2 is the game that change everything not SF1. Also it willl take forever to make MvC2 into HD.That game has way to many characters. There should do a 3rd strike remix and a Final Fight HD remix. Also SvC: chaos was develop by snk not capcom and I hated that game for some reason.

1.Not if they can do a remake or re-telling of sf1.

2.Not really.Super puzzle fighter 2 turbo when bringed to xbox live, they simply maked it hd.But they didn`t had to re-draw all the sprites. So pretty much every games,mvc2 inclued, can be done in hd.

3.Final fight would be cool with online, but i dont see the point of bringing the decap version of sf4 on xbox live and psn when they is already sf4 that rock online.

4.svc chaos dont really need to be bring. It simple;get the other cvs games instead.

Nice list but remember SvC Chaos was developed by SNK. But yeah I would throw Mega Man X4 into it cause that was my favorite game back then.

I know that SVC Chaos was developed by SNK, but Capcom had to give them the ok and they probably had to at least oversee the Capcom characters at least since they were all redesigned for SVC Chaos.

It's been a while, but I figure I might as well post something...

With Capcom trying pretty agressively to redo their business relation with Marvel, and SNK putting out games on PSN...I think it's only a matter of time until we see a PSN version of:

  • X-Men vs. Street Fighter
  • Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
  • Marvel vs. Capcom
  • Capcom vs. SNK PRO
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2
  • SVC Chaos: SNK Vs. Capcom
  • NeoGeo Battle Coliseum
  • King of Fighters NeoWave
  • Garou Mark of the Wolves
  • King of Fighters 94 ~ 2001 (or whatever)
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3
  • Street Fighter III Third Strike Online Edition
  • Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
  • Street Fighter (the original)

Fighting games have been dead for a while, and it's really thanks to Capcom...or more specifically Yoshinori Ono-san, for reviving the genre (pretty much) with Street Fighter IV.

I mean yea we had Guilty Gear XX ~ Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +...but that was pretty much it in terms of "new" fighting games for a while. SVC Chaos not getting a USA PS2 release back in 2004 or 2005 really pissed me off and it made be lose a lot of hope with fighting games, but with the PS3 and the PSN, I think it's now very possible and a very attractive thing (for developers) to try and get as many of their games up online for people to buy and download.

There are no hardware issues since the PS3 is a pretty damn powerful piece of hardware (especially compared to the PS1 and PS2).

Licensing issues and company hatred towards each other mean so little these days since with Marvel, Disney owns everything so it's much simpler and SNK is doing pretty bad so they're probably willing to do anything and everything they can.

I mean look at KOF XII. People have complained about how barebones the game is, how few number of stages there are, and Mai not being included in the game when she's like one of the most popular characters from the KOF games (well at least they put her back in with KOF XIII).

Anyway, I'm just hoping that 2011 brings about all of these games on PSN in some form. Please don't make them PSone classics since we all know that the PS1 is a very limited piece of hardware.

Capcom...

Please talk with SNK and Marvel. We need to have these epic-tier, ultra, amazing fighting games put up on PSN.

A lot of "new school" fighting game fans probably don't even know where games like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 & 3 originated from. Hell, I'd even wager that many have not even heard of X-Men vs. Street Fighter...LOL.
