These 2 games were some of the best beat 'em up arcade games ever! It would be awesome to play these on XBL or PSN, 4 player, online..think about it. Where are these classics, Capcom!!?

They take a while to redo an older game.

Redoing them in HD would be awesome, but I'd settle for a straight arcade port, with 4-player co-op. Surely they could at least do that?

I adore these games! Too bad Capcom doesn't have the rights any more.

These were two of my favorite games growing up.  I can't even fathom how many trips to the mall I made simply to dump quarters in ToD.

I'm fiending so bad for this game now, I'm even contemplating buying an old arcade machine of it to put in my basement (if I can convince the wife).

Are they out for any system other than the Japan-only release for the Sega Saturn?  Any hopes whatsoever of them coming out for download on PS3 or XBox?  I only own a PS3 right now, but I'd buy a different console just for either of these games.

I would definitely enjoy playing Shadow Over Mystara (easily the best D&D video game yet made) 3-player on my Wii. The only catch seems to be both the willingness of both Capcom and Wizards of the Coast (the company that owns D&D now) to reach out to each other, unless Wizards somehow has no rights to the arcade games (Capcom doesn't either?)... Wizards has released multiple D&D video games within the past decade (one being a re-release of an older game), so I don't think it would be adverse to the idea.

I'm pretty sure Final Fight and TMNT 1989 did well for their respective companies and I'm betting X-Men will do well so I suppose there's still hope....

Signed.  D&D:SoM was one of my favorite arcade titles of the nineties.  Please make it happen, Capcom.

I once played this with someone at the arcade who knew so much about that game, that I found out many boss patterns (thought there weren't any really) and special paths.  Definitely a great multiplayer game...esp since certain characters are best against certain enemies making an entire team invaluable.
