Now this series would make a good digital download. I 've been missing this game too. I've only played the first one but it was a blast. I think they should consider bringing it to the 360 and PS3. What do you all think?

haha, I know you would! I wonder if Capcom is going to put alot of these games on compilation discs. Could that be the reason why they have'nt shown up on the marketplace, PSN and the Wii store?

I agree 100%. This series is one of my overall favorite Capcom series (yeah), so I'd love to see them distributed digitally. I'm still disappointed about how the series sorta... died.

Yeah, after Double Trouble (meh) & Red Hot Rumble (still need to play), it seems like Capcom stopped caring (until he appeared in Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, which was awesome). I remember the build-up for the 1st game. I was so hyped, I pre-ordered the game so I could get the bobblehead. I'd say scrap the team thing from VJ2. The only reason you switched was so you could use Replay or Mach Speed.....I liked having multiple characters like in the 1st game (& the addition of Dante in the PS2 version was cool).

I never even got the chance to play those two (Red Hot Rumble I think was a mediocre fighting game. I just could plain never find Double Trouble). Those first two games were such gems though, I never understood why the series just... stopped. I know Clover Studios closed, but I didn't think that was enough reason to quit the series all together. Hopefully Joes includsion in TvC is a sign for a bright future.
I do agree with you though, drop the team deal. Didn't work all that well in VJ2 and seemed like a silly gimmick (only used it when I had to. Otherwise I was always Joe). Multiple characters are always better .

It was also said that VJ2 was going to have co-op (since Joe & Silvia were on the screen at the same time. that would've been neat), but was later dropped. I hope those challenge rooms or whatever they were come back. Those added some replay value.

I think I remember reading that in an old Game Informer preview actually. I wondered what happened to it, but never really thought about it again afterwards. Considering how huge of an impact online has these days though (plus it practically being a beat um up, cept with more style) I could see that working in their favor to a huge effect too. Would add a huge amount of replayability being able to bust some fools up with a buddy.
The challenge rooms were great too. If anything, I'd say if they brought them back, try to have more unlockables. I remember the 2nd game had a lot of opportunity for goodies to unlock, but lacked almost any. Kinda took away some of the motivation in completing them. Would be a great alternative to unlocking characters in my opinion too.
Damn... now I'm getting worked up for something that probably isn't happening. Oh well.

Haha! I know how you feel. Maybe if more of us get worked up Capcom will take notice. Hey, look at Marvel vs Capcom 2. That's all I gotta say.

Good point. Would'nt have a bunch of licensing issues either. Hmm...
