The Destructoid crew's invasion of our CES suite let them go hands-on with our upcoming digital two-fer, Final Fight: Double Impact, which pairs brawling classic Final Fight with dungeon-crawling classic, Magic Sword.
Capcom has created an incredibly faithful port here, with an excellent attention to detail. There's a lot of love for fans of the arcade experience poured into the games and it's done in ways that go beyond the mechanics.
What does "love" mean? It means the magical online multiplayer experience of GGPO. It means the choice to play in HD or with a burned-in, scan-lined arcade bezel.
There are a few different varieties, but the show stealer is an arcade mode. This adds the original artwork from the cabinets to the sides of the screen and, to add to the realism, the screen itself is given the appearance of bowing out like a CRT monitor. It's nothing short of beautiful to those with fond memories of playing in arcades.
Don't take my word for it, however--read the whole original piece here, and don't forget your chance to win a flight to party with us (and our fun new games) just by coloring inside the lines.

You guys keep teasing me with this game, I want it to come out already!
WompdevilI already have the Capcom Collection games for PS2 that have Final Fight and Magic Sword, but the idea of playing them online and having all those graphic filters makes Final Fight: Double Impact that much better
